Red Door Escape Room

In a sixteen-week project with Red Door Escape Room, I worked in a team of three to make Escape rooms more visually accessible. Our goal was to simplify the process of locating clues to make solving the puzzles easier for individuals with visual impairments.

I conducted observation studies and follow-up interviews with participants. I coded their reactions to identify common pain points in their experience and used this information to suggest possible improvements.

This guidebook would be used to help future designers of Red Door Escape Room to create more visually accessible escape rooms. This allowed me to enhance my user experience skills through real-life practice.

Pet's Club

Sam's Club

In a sixteen-week project with Sam’s Club, I worked in a team of five to come up with new and innovative ideas for the pet department. Our goal was to create a product idea that would benefit both the store and its customers.

As part of my work, I conducted interviews with pet owners to gather valuable insights. Based on their feedback, I developed a custom food option and also designed a functional app prototype for our new concept called "Pet's Club".

The Pet’s Club would allow members to have their shopping preferences, health status, and customized food for their pet(s) all on the app. This was a brilliant concept backed by the innovation director, but our biggest setback was figuring out how to present it effectively.

Taste of Success

City of Frisco

In a sixteen-week project with the City of Frisco, I worked in a team of five to create a system that would not only improve Restaurant health scores but also increase restaurant communications and aid with the Chamber of Commerce.

I was responsible for creating prototypes of the health score certificate and ideating a suitable ranking system.

Our team suggested creating a ranking system that would help restaurants not only compete with other restaurants of similar status but also be able to collaborate with the Chamber of Commerce and other restaurants to increase their health inspection score.

Simply Styled

In a 9-month solo project, I am developing a virtual closet app to encourage people to reduce wasteful spending and declutter by creating stylish outfits from their existing inventory.
